A custom-made online course strengthens chemical safety at Pori Energia
Employees working at Pori Energia’s facilities handle a variety of chemicals, some of which pose serious risks to both human health and the environment.
While the company already had internal guidelines for safe chemical handling, there was a need for a clear and easily accessible online course to support and complement that material. The goal was to provide all staff with a strong foundation for working safely with chemicals.
Ixir’s e-learning expert designed the course based on existing materials and insights gathered during a joint workshop. The first step was creating a course script, which was reviewed and refined by Pori Energia’s subject matter experts. After that, the course was built on Pori Energia’s internal learning platform.

The result was a concise online course of about 45 minutes, bringing together the most important principles of chemical safety.
