Ixir is a Helsinki-based company that designs online courses and provides expert assistance related to asynchronous learning.
Ixir was born out of a passion for high-quality education and e-learning, as well as expertise and competence in producing them. We believe in the effectiveness of carefully executed online courses.
Inka Nokso-Koivisto, Ph.D., the founder of Ixir, has a background in teaching adults, conducting academic research, authoring popular science books, and working in communication roles in the corporate sector as well as the nonprofit sector.
Inka is also a lover of literature and stories, and she firmly believes in the power of motivation in learning. She is convinced that the best learning outcomes occur when an e-learning course captivates, much like a compelling novel.
